AFRICAN Peoples Alliance (APA) in Kwara State has pledged to work in support of the administration of the incoming governor of the State, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement signed by the party’s chairman and secretary, Comrade Ibrahim Mabolaje and Mikky Bola Bello, respectively, the party said that it would be a motivator in the incoming APC governance.
The party also urged the governor-elect to put the welfare of generality of people of the State first in all his considerations, advising that he should not promote individualism.
The APA, which congratulated all elected members of the APC in the State during the last general elections, including President Muhammadu Buhari, described the election that gave them victory as “indeed free, fair and credible.”

“We wish you all successful tenure of office and therefore pledge our unflinching support and cooperation for the APC government. Is worthy to put on record that we will be a motivator in your governance for you to deliver dividends of democracy to the nook and cranny of Kwara State who voted en masse for all APC candidates in the 2019 general elections,” the statement said.
The party also commended stakeholders in the electioneering processes for the success of the poll, saying that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, United Nations, observer groups and international communities contributed to the success of the general elections.
