As insecurity pervades Nigeria, Pastor (Dr) Stephen Ajayi of the Christ Apostolic Church, Victory Centre, Akinfenwa area, Gbagi, Old-Ife Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, has tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle the problem for the safety of lives and properties.
Speaking to newsmen in Ibadan, Stephen Ajayi lamented the worrisome state of insecurity in the country, just as he noted that it has posed threat to lives and properties in the country.
He noted with dismay news of kidnapping, killing, banditry and violence now occupy pages of newspapers while news on electronic media were no longer palatable.
The cleric said for meaningful development to take place, relative peace must be restored by security agencies through support by the Federal Government under President Buhari.
He also called on religious leaders and religious organisations to pray for the country.
He appealed to people to show love to one another, forgive themselves and do what is right at all times for Nigeria to develop.
