Renowned brand and software designer, Adefemi Adele, recently served as a guest facilitator at Cirvee Tech Academy, where he led a three-day intensive workshop on no-code web design for young creatives in Ibadan.
The training focused on helping participants transform interface designs made in Figma into fully functional, responsive websites using WordPress and Elementor.
“Great design isn’t finished in the artboard,” Adele told participants. “Seeing your ideas come alive in the browser is what unlocks real-world impact.”
Over 72 hours of live demonstrations, code walkthroughs, and practical sessions, the participants built their personal portfolio websites from scratch, gained firsthand experience in modern no-code workflows, and received certificates of completion.
Cirvee Tech Academy’s Programme Director, Amb. Nimi Adegbite, praised Adele’s session for “bridging the gap between visual design and deployable products — a skillset that local employers are actively looking for.”
Now based in Lagos, Adele is widely respected for his work on high-impact platforms such as Hygeia Mobile (Health Insurance), CartAGRO, Karla (Tap-to-Pay), and House of Chess. He has mentored more than 200 young African creatives since 2019 through pro-bono masterclasses that emphasize user-focused design, accessibility, and performance.
With Nigeria’s digital economy projected to exceed ₦15 trillion by 2026, training initiatives like this are critical for developing future-ready talent. Plans are already underway for an extended five-day edition later in the year, featuring advanced tools like motion design and AI-powered prototyping.
