Gov Aiyedatiwa, Ondo needs top quality stadium

I want to appeal to the governor of Ondo State Lucky Aiyedatiwa to provide the state with a top-quality stadium. The Akure stadium is not a stadium that is up to standard in which they can play international matches.

I want our amiable governor to please complete the 60,000-capacity stadium that was abandoned since the days of former governor Olusegun Agagu. If the state football club, Sunshine Stars, qualifies for a continental cup, for example, the Akure stadium can’t be approved for them to play their matches.

Among the states in the Southwest, it is only Ondo State that doesn’t have a standard stadium.

In addition, the Ore Expressway needs a pedestrian bridge.

The governor should also please pay attention to the electricity situation so that power can be restored to parts of Ondo South. Many people in this area have been in darkness since December 2013.
