7 dressing rules everyone should learn

There are some obvious, embarrassing and unforgivable mistakes we shouldn’t be making in this modern era. Some of these mistakes happen due to ignorance or negligence.

To avoid these mistakes, here are seven dressing rules we should learn.

Jacket (for men): The middle button of a jacket should always be closed. The lower should never be closed. The upper depends on your mood.

Shirt (for women): You can unbutton no more than two buttons.

Tie: The tip of your tie should reach your waist and cross it just a little.

Belt (for men): If you tuck in your shirt, you should wear a belt.

Socks: Your socks should be long enough that your naked legs aren’t seen when you are sitting.

Shirt (for men): If you are wearing a shirt without a jacket, you don’t need a tie.

Blouse (for women): An office blouse without sleeves should cover your shoulders. ‘Spaghetti’ straps are not okay in formal situations.
