Thirty-eight years old man, Seun Aina has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment without the option of fine for defiling a 15-month old child.
Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court convicted and sentenced the convict to 25 years imprisonment on defilement of the 15 month-old minor in Lagos in the suit ID/7592C/2018.
The judge also ordered that the convict’s name, Seun Aina be entered into the Sexual Offenders Register in Lagos State.
This judgement was handed down recently according to a state-owned agency, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, (DSVRT) disclosed, on Wednesday.
The convict was arraigned on November 7, 2018, on a one-count charge of defilement contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State. 2015.
