Over 350 young people from Bauchi State have successfully graduated from the 2025 Innovative and Integrated Agricultural Value Chains Agribusiness Training at CSS Global Integrated Farms in Gora, Nasarawa State. This two-week training program was designed to equip the youth with modern farming skills and knowledge to drive positive change in agribusiness.

Representing the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Iliyas Aliyu-Gital, commended Professor John Kennedy Opara, the Chairman of CSS Global Integrated Farms, and his team for delivering high-quality training that will empower the youth of Bauchi State to effect positive change in the sector.

“The training is designed to provide young people with opportunities to learn from experienced leaders through training and mentorship programs in modern farming,” the Governor emphasized. “I urge you to embrace farming and view agriculture as a major profession that can reduce poverty, increase incomes, improve food security, and boost productivity.”

In his lecture titled “The Power of Vision,” Professor Opara stressed the importance of understanding one’s purpose and having a clear vision. “Unless one understands what he is meant to achieve, his time on earth will be wasted,” he said. “The best way to prepare the youth, who are often called the leaders of tomorrow, is to equip them with knowledge.”

The participants received training in various areas, including grain production, poultry, fishery, food processing, packaging, and branding. The program aimed to empower them with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to national development.

During the graduation ceremony, special awards were presented to the Chairman of CSS Global Integrated Farms and the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for Excellent Leadership. Monetary rewards and gifts were also given to select graduates for their outstanding performance.

The participants expressed their gratitude to the Government of Bauchi State for organizing the empowerment program and for being part of this historic occasion.
