Foremost musician, 2face Idibia, who landed in Kotoka International Airport days back for the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) could not hide his joy at the state-of-the-art facilities at the airport, saying those who are in charge of Nigeria’s airports should be ashamed.
2face, who was subtly mocking the Federal Government of the poor state of Nigeria’s airports was seen in a video throwing shades at the airports’ authorities in the country.
In the video, that was shared by 2face’s manager, Efe Omorogbe, the made a second’s appearance in the video saying this is Accra, Ghana with the best facilities any airport should boast of.
2face said: “Shame on some people for Nigeria,” in the video.
It will be recalled that popular actor, Aremu Afolayan, had last week, in a live video, berated the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Presdient Muhammadu Buhari and the state governor, Akinwumi Ambode over what he described as the unprofessional conduct of some officials of FAAN and also the poor state of the airport in Lagos State.
Though, Aremu would later apologise to Buhari and Ambode for his outburst that was said to have painted the country in a bad light on many social media platforms, other Nigerians opined that something drastic must be done give airports across the country a facelift to international standards.
