Justice Abubakar Sadiq, in his judgment, said the defendants had pleaded guilty to the charge and the court had no option but to sentence them accordingly.
Sadiq, therefore, sentenced the convicts to nine months in prison, adding that the punishment would serve as a deterrent to others.
He also gave the convicts an option to pay N10,000 fine each.
The convicts, who have no fixed address, were sentenced on a three-count charge of the joint act, criminal trespass and theft.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Dalhatu Zannah, told the court that one Sgt. John Joseph of Mopol 50 PMF, Abuja, attached to Eterina Filling Station, Utako, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station on May 5.
Zannah said that the convicts on the same date, formed a criminal intention, trespassed into Abraham Plaza and dishonestly broke into a sienna bus that was parked there.

The police prosecutor said that the convicts criminally stole the Sienna bus battery worth N30,000.
He added that the complainant raised an alarm, which attracted the attention of the people around and the convicts were caught with the items.
Zannah noted that during the police investigation, the convicts admitted committing the offence.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 79, 348 and 287 of the Penal Code.
