101-year-old tree that gushes water in Europe

Magic is a phenomenon that cannot be explained through reason. And we all know that nature is the best magician of all. Showing one of her tricks, yet again, nature has surprised netizens on social media, with a very peculiar sighting. A unique phenomenon showing water flowing out of a 101-year-old mulberry tree in Southern Europe has left people in awe of nature

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that the phenomenon occurs each year for a few days.

Also, India Times, in a report, said that the 101-year-old tree which turns into a fountain for a few days after a heavy rainfall has had people in awe for quite a long time. The 101 year old mulberry tree is located in the village of Dinosa, Montenegro. Dinosa is a village in the southeastern European country of Montenegro, the east capital of Podgorica. The mulberry tree, is located above reservoirs near the bank of a river. It is thought that groundwater from a spring forces its way through a cavity in the tree. The phenomenon first occurred in the 1990s, and still occurs once a year.

Water gushes out of mulberry trees during heavy rains, and it happens because underground springs, which floods during heavy rainfall, create a strong pressure that sends water gushing out of the trunks of the mulberry tree. It is said that the groundwater pressure builds it forces through a hollowed-out portion of the tree, pouring out of the trunk at a height of approximately 1.5 meters (4.9 ft). The phenomenon is said to occur once a year, for a day or two, the trees’ barks let water flow through them.
