RESIDENTS of Dutse-Alhaji community, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, have called on the FCT administration and the Bwari Area Council authority to provide some necessary social amenities for the community to feel the presence of government.
The village head of Zone Five, Dutse-Alhaji, Mohammed Tasir, made this call recently while speaking with newsmen on the problems facing the community.
Tasir said the community had participated fully during electioneering, but got abandoned after the election when the winners had taken oath of office.
Listing the infrastructure deficiency, Tasir said, “we have poor road networks, lack of good drainage system, poor power supply, poor medical facilities and patients pay for basically all the treatment despite the fact that the hospital is a public one.”
