The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Kaura Namoda Local Government Council and former Zamfara Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mannir Muazu Haidara, has assured to boost economic activities and restore the lost glory of the area.

The chairmanship candidate for Kaura Namoda in the upcoming local government election, Mannir Haidara, further assured the electorate that he would prioritize projects that promote economic growth, education, security, healthcare, and water, in alignment with the current administration’s rescue mission under Governor Dauda Lawal.

Haidara gave this assurance during a program organized by the Zamfara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) called “Zakaran Da Allah Ya Nufa Da Chara,” which featured all 14 local government chairmanship candidates in the state.

He added that he would collaborate with local stakeholders, organizations, and both the federal and state governments, as well as businesses, to drive development.

“I promise to support the state government’s efforts to address security issues in my area and work towards youth employment and skills acquisition for self-reliance,” he said.

He also assured that he would support working journalists and collaborate with them to enlighten the public on the development and programs of the present administration aimed at moving the state forward.

In his remarks, the Zamfara State NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare, expressed appreciation to the candidate for honoring the invitation and showcasing his various programs for the betterment of his electorate.
