According to the NSCDC boss, the deployments were drawn from various departments and units, such as Operation, Intelligence and Investigation, Anti-Vandal, Armed Squad, CNAI, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) Unit, Area Commands and Divisions, Quick Intervention Squad (QIS), Special Female Squad (SFS), Agro-Rangers, Crisis and Disaster Management, Counter-Terrorism, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Public Relations, Marine, Airport, and Anti-Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration Unit (ATHIMU).
He, however, emphasised the need for ‘inter-agency and intra-agency collaboration’ to achieve optimal operational success and safety during this season of celebrations.
Adedotun also charged personnel of the NSCDC in Lagos State to work harmoniously with themselves and all other security agencies to achieve the best results this season.
The NSCDC boss also felicitated with the followers of Christ, also known as Christians, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
The NSCDC Lagos State Commandant also took this season to urge Christians, all Nigerians, and foreigners residing in the state to imbibe the virtues and principles of peace and compassion during the Yuletide and New Year celebrations, as exhibited by Jesus Christ.
He also appreciated the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat for their immense support towards the development of the Corps in Lagos.
The Lagos State Commandant, however, warned unrepentant and intending unscrupulous criminal elements to refrain from their wicked, malicious, debilitating, destructive, harmful, terrifying, and corrosive acts of sabotage and criminality or face the full wrath of the law.
