According to Olubo, the initiative tagged Samaritan Purse Project, will feed about 500 people, especially widows and the needy at the church’s premises, at Akowonjo, Egbeda, Lagos State.
He noted that despite the economic challenges, he would not compromise on God’s mandate to support the underprivileged.
“My life is all about giving. This is the assignment God gave me and I am delighted to toe this line. Irrespective of the challenges, the programme must hold and God will manifest Himself. This is one of the major ways we can restore lives and keep hope alive,” he said.
Olubo, who stated further that the initiative was part of his calling to impact lives and contribute to nation building and the work of evangelism, also urged Nigerians, especially well-meaning individuals to support the needy and cultivate the habit of giving back to the society.
