Your work speaks for you , Asigangan of Igangan tells Alao-Akala

THE Asigangan of Igangan land in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo state, Oba Lasisi Olawuyi Adeoye on Monday attested to the efforts of the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala while he was the governor of Oyo state, stating that his work continues to speak for him.

Oba Adeoye who received the ADP gubernatorial candidate and his campaign train at his place stated that all the projects that Alao-Akala embarked upon when he was the governor is still impacting the lives of the people of the community.

“Your work speaks for you, we know what you did for us. Stand firm and remain unshaken in your belief,” Oba Adeoye stated.

Earlier Alao-Akala had urged the king to enlighten his people not to be deceived by fake promises, adding that if he didn’t do well, he won’t be able to come back to ask for votes years later.

“Don’t let them deceive people with fake promises, we wouldn’t have been able to come back here if we did not do well. Talk to the people not to be deceived, they don’t care about them, they only want to use fake promises to get votes.

“All we did here are still in use, that means they were done with good standards; the transformer in front of the palace was installed by me and we installed it in many other areas in this town.

“They didn’t build any new school, the school on Ayete, Igangan and Tapa were built by me. We will take care of civil servants, see to the welfare of people and ensure roads get to the farms to make life easy for people and ensure food security,” he stated.

At the Igangan town hall, Alao-Akala urged the people not to sell their votes, asking them not to collect money that will lead to suffering.

“Don’t vote for suffering, do not sell your votes for stipends. Don’t collect money that will lead to suffering, think about the future of your children,” he urged.
