Your money and you

“Don’t always spend money, send it on errands, else you err.” – thinkUP

“Too many people spend money they earned – to buy things they don’t want – to impress people that they don’t like.” – Will Rogers

“I make myself rich by making my wants few.” – Henry David Thoreau.

“The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of the opportunity.” – Leonard Ravenhill

You have money. Yes, you have some money you can spare for business. Resist the urge to spend; always learn to send your money on business errands. “Many people take no care of their money till they come nearly to the end of it and others do just the same with their time.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Money is your servant:

Support

Energy

Resource

Voice

Amplifier

Necessity

Testimony

Money is your support

“To stay ahead, you must have your next idea waiting in the wings.” – Rosabeth Moss Kanter

You don’t need money for sports; you need money as a support system. Money is a critical tool that gives wings to a dream, adds value to a vision and turns an idea into reality. Business ideas without money are mere empty thoughts. Steve Jobs once said: “Creativity is simply connecting the dots.” Money moves creativity from indoors to industry. Money converts thoughts to ‘dots’ and transforms creativity into innovation. Innovation is the central issue in economic prosperity. Every successful innovation has a support system in robust fundings and research findings. The latter is capital intensive. Entrepreneurs, Academics and Researchers (EAR) need robust fundings to turn research findings into sustainable innovations and profitable ventures.

Money is your energy

“Wealth flows from energy and ideas.” – William Feather

There is energy in money and money in energy. If you can’t make energy, try to make energy count. It is common to see people say they don’t have money, but funny enough, there is money locked up in the energy they dissipate around. When you spend money, you spend energy. Energy is to be spent wisely. In energy studies, the first energy source is energy conservation. Is it not therefore logical to assert that the first money source is energy conservation? Physical energy can be converted to financial resource. “In all labour there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” – Proverbs 14:23 (Amplified).

Money is your resource

“A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds.” –Francis Bacon

Money is a source, it becomes a ‘re-source’ when it is used to multiply the source. It is a financial sin to make and not multiply money. It is a greater sin to multiply money and then mismanage it.

Money is your voice

“That money talks, I’ll not deny, I heard it once: It said, ‘Goodbye’.” – Richard Armour

Money speaks. If you manage it well, it will give you a voice and recognition. If you always buy what you don’t need, money will soon tell you goodbye. For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it. – Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NKJV). Money is sustained by wisdom. Wisdom is knowing what to do and doing it. It is knowing what to buy and buying it. It is knowing what to say goodbye to and the goods to buy.

Money is your amplifier

“Money will buy a pretty good dog, but it won’t buy the wag of his tail.” – Josh Billings

Action speaks louder than voice. Wealth speaks louder than money. Wealth is money animated and amplified through wise investments. Money can start a business, but it is wisdom that adds value to it through strategic investment in innovation and R&D (research and development). Not everyone who has money knows how to spend it, but trust Entrepreneurs, Academics and Researchers (EARs) with your money. If you have no idea of what to do with money, please look for reliable ‘EARs’ and loan them your money with legal documentations. Any investment outside of these may lead to TEARS.

Money is a necessity

“Money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver.” – Ayn Rand

Money can hire wisdom. Wisdom is a necessity to enter into a ‘city.’ The labour of a fool so wearies him [because he is ignorant] that he does not even know how to go to a city. – Ecclesiastes 10:15 (Amplified). Hire wisdom with your money. Wisdom is money but money is not wisdom.

Money is your testimony

“You either master money, or, on some level, money masters you.” – Tony Robbins

Money is a test. The ability to make, manage and multiply money is a testimony of doing well in money matter. Many people have failed the test of money and this is one of the reasons for perpetual penury. Money is not always meant to be spent; it is meant to be sent on business errands.
