Former Super Eagles skipper, Joseph Yobo has signed for Kano Pillars as an Ambassador of the League Management Company (LMC), and could make his debut during the Nigeria Premier League game against Sunshine Stars of Akure next Wednesday.
Four-time champions Pillars, FC IfeanyiUbah, Akwa United and Wikki Tourists were all in the race to sign the former Nigeria captain Yobo, who won 101 caps with the Super Eagles before he quit international football.
The Ex-Everton star signed a deal with the League Management Company (LMC), which will see him feature in the domestic league as a way of promoting and adding values to the competition.
The central defender has previously played for Turkish giants, Fenerbache, Olympique Marseille of France as well as Norwich City in the Premier League.
