I want to call on the Federal Government to complete the Ibadan-Ilorin Expressway; the first part of the project from Ibadan to Oyo had been completed by the past administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan, and the second part is just from Oyo to Ilorin. This road needs to be completed fast because of the high rate of accidents happening on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road.
Before the completion of the Ibadan-Oyo section, many innocent people died on the old road to Oyo, but the expressway has brought about a drastic reduction in road accidents.
It is, therefore, important that the Federal Goverment also takes the second section of the project seriously so that innocent people will not be losing their lives on the Ogbomo-Oyo road.

and then
