Xolane Ndhlovu supports family of slain South African makeup artist

South African billionaire and philanthropist Xolane Ndhlovu has once again shown his compassionate spirit by coming to the aid of a grieving family during their time of greatest need.

The Vale family is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of their 29-year-old daughter, Primrose Vale, who tragically died from malaria during the recent festive season in Lagos, Nigeria.

The talented makeup artist’s unexpected passing not only left them with emotional scars but also imposed a significant financial burden, as they needed over R97,000 to repatriate her remains to South Africa for a proper burial.

Ndhlovu generously donated R100,000, enabling the family to bring Primrose home with dignity and grace.

Following his gesture, a family spokesperson expressed their deep gratitude for Ndhlovu’s heartfelt support, stating that his selfless act has brought peace and relief amid their unimaginable grief.

Primrose’s story highlights the fragility of life and the ongoing impact of malaria, particularly for individuals working or traveling abroad. It also underscores the hidden costs and challenges that families often face when losing loved ones far from home.

Ndhlovu’s act of generosity is part of a growing legacy of quiet yet powerful philanthropy. In 2024, he made headlines when he gifted a house to Thandile Ramza, an unemployed single mother from East London, South Africa.

Ramza had initially reached out to Ndhlovu via Facebook, seeking help with food. Touched by her story, Ndhlovu provided not only immediate relief but also long-term empowerment by securing her a job, a vehicle, and ultimately building her a brand-new house worth R770,000.

This new house replaced Ramza’s crumbling home, which she had inherited. Ndhlovu later shared on Instagram that his deep concern for her living situation prompted him to take swift and decisive action.

Known for prioritizing meaningful impact over extravagance, Xolane Ndhlovu continues to be a beacon of hope. His latest act of generosity reminds us of the power of individual compassion to transform lives, bring comfort to the broken-hearted, and reaffirm our shared humanity.
