Seed of Life Group of Schools, Ibadan, is one of the private schools in the country where staff enjoy special incentives such as plots of land to acknowledge them as co-stakeholders of the school.
Recently, the nursery and primary arms of the school celebrated their 30th anniversary. The occasion drew dignitaries, including the wife of the Ondo State governor, Chief Betty Akeredolu and the wife of the Oyo deputy governor, Professor Bolanle Olaniyan who commemorated the event with staff, pupils and management of the school.
The duo eulogised the founder of the school, Mrs Kikelomo Runsewe for her contributions towards the development of education in Nigeria, especially in Oyo State.

She commended the teaching staff for their commitment and dedication to quality education, as she enjoined them not to relent in their responsibilities to produce quality pupils for secondary school education programmes.
Professor Olaniyan then advised the parents to continue to support the school in kind and in cash in order to sustain the already established academic standards in the school.
Also speaking in the same vein, the Proprietor, DE Ayo International College, Dr Ayoyinka Babatunde described Mrs Runsewe as an epitome of modest personality, whose level of integrity and intellectual could not be overemphasized in the corridor of the education sector.
In her response, Mrs Runsewe attributed the success of the school to the mercy and faithfulness of God and the support she received from her husband, Olatunde Runsewe.
She also credited the success of the school to the dedicated, committed and experienced teachers the school is endowed with, as she acknowledged parents for entrusting their children to the school.
She noted that the seed of the school was sown and watered by the hands of God, the development of which, she said, has helped the school to graduate over 1000 pupils that are excelling in different facets of life.
According to her, the school started with 11 pupils in 1991 and God has allowed the population to grow to not less than 600 pupils, while the school’s teaching aids and infrastructural development grew along with the increasing population of the school.
