The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has explained reason behind the temporary delays applicants are experiencing in the approval of Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and access to certain post-incorporation services for business names.
In a press release posted on its official X handle on Thursday morning, the Commission attributed the challenges to “ongoing system optimisation.”
The statement, titled “Notice to Our Esteemed Customers”, reads:

“We are aware of the temporary delays in approvals of Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and in accessing certain Post-Incorporation services for Business Names.
“These challenges are due to ongoing system optimisation to serve you better. We cannot afford a total shutdown, as your needs remain our top priority.
“We are almost there. Soon you will enjoy faster, smoother, and hassle-free services.”
The CAC assured its customers that the optimisation process is near completion and emphasised that the goal is to provide more efficient services.
