Why Nigerians, govt should take up initiatives to uplift Nigerian youths – Ilesanmi

A humanitarian committed to the development of youths in Nigeria Chief Francis Ilesanmi has stated reasons why well meaning Nigerians should take up initiatives to uplift Nigerian youths.

Ilesanmi states that initiatives such as youth empowerment, and scholarships programmes should be taken up to create employment opportunities for youths in a bid to reduce crime in the society.

The humanitarian said this on Saturday, during his installation as the patron of a group, The Friends of Seyi Tinubu Humanitarian Foundation, FOST, Osun State chapter.

The installation which took place   at the Palace Square, Ipetu Ijesa, was witnessed by traditional rulers, eminent community leaders, youth representatives, APC stakeholders, and members of the FOST national leadership.

He added that the youths should be taught about values of integrity and sacrifice to make Nigeria a better place.

Ilesanmi however appreciates the group for the recognition while he pledges to continue to give more support humanity with initiative that will continue to support youths and communities in general.

“Initiatives such as youth empowerment, scholarships programmes should be taken up to create employment opportunities for youths to reduce crimes in our  society

“Our youths should be taught on the values of integrity and sacrifice if we want to make Nigeria a better place.”

Speaking , the Founder, FOST , Adejorin Tai Manuel , noted that the recognition was in acknowledgment of his unwavering contributions to humanitarian service, philanthropy, and grassroots empowerment.

He described Chief Ilesanmi as a selfless leader whose impact transcends titles and positions, a man whose life reflects genuine compassion, discipline, and service to humanity.”

Tai Manuel further stated that Ilesanmi’s  installation as Patron of the group will further consolidate the humanitarian vision of the group in Osun State adding that it will aswell inspire young people to emulate his values of integrity, sacrifice, and excellence.

He said, “Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment to the welfare of the less privileged, youth development, and community building.

“Chief Ilesanmi, a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Despite his remarkable professional achievements, he has never relented in extending his resources and influence toward charitable causes, educational sponsorships, and empowerment initiatives.

“The Friends of Seyi Tinubu Humanitarian Foundation (FOST) has remained a dynamic platform dedicated to humanitarian interventions, empowerment of young people, and socio-economic development across Nigeria. With Chief Ilesanmi Francis Olaniyi now installed as Patron of its Osun State Chapter, the Foundation is confident that its mission will receive a new and stronger drive.”
