Determined to regain control over his mental health and well-being, the singer said he made the conscious choice to put an end to his reliance on the substance.

Reflecting on his journey, Shmurda revealed a significant shift in his lifestyle, stating that he now solely indulges in cigarettes and alcoholic beverages, contrasting with his heavy use of weed four years prior.

“I quit smoking weed about four years ago. Her anxiety started mounting each time I took it. It became very difficult for me to deal with the intense anxiety, so I had to stop smoking weed and focus mainly on cigarettes and liquor”, he added.
