Nollywood actress and skit maker, Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, has shared why she chose to live with her husband before their wedding.
Speaking during an interview with Toke Makinwa, the content creator explained that she and her husband had already completed their traditional rites and were preparing for their white wedding when they moved in together.
According to her, the timing also coincided with the expiration of her rent, which influenced her decision not to renew her lease.

KieKie said living together before the wedding made more financial sense, despite concerns about how it might be perceived.
“Before my husband and I got married, we lived together for about four months. My rent had expired, and we were getting married in January, so I said to myself, ‘Why pay another rent?’
“People might judge it, but I wasn’t going to waste money. We’d already done our introduction. The church didn’t know about it, and I used to sing in church that time,” she explained.
