Spyro, also known as Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, recently shared insights into why he prefers not to be left alone in the same room with Big Brother Naija reality star Nengi Hampson.
In a post on his Instagram handle, the singer recounted a humorous encounter with an interviewer who asked him about female celebrities he would avoid being alone with.
Spyro mentioned Nengi, explaining that, as a follower of Jesus, he tries not to emulate Him perfectly and thus steers clear of situations that might lead to temptation.
He wrote, “An interviewer recently asked me, which female in this industry would you never allow yourself to be left in a room with?
“Guess who I named? That would be NENGI. I don’t like to pretend to be like Jesus, I am just His follower. So, I flee from every appearance of NENGI to avoid temptation.”
Spyro also shared a funny anecdote about seeing Nengi at a show, where she sat opposite him. He humorously recounted rebuking the devil to leave his head until he eventually had to flee the scene.
“Humnnnn…. That’s how I encountered her at one show, she sat right opposite me, and I kept rebuking the devil to leave my head until I had to run,” he added.
