A beauty and hair care solutions company, Recare Cosmetics Limited, which is at the forefront of developing beauty solution for the African woman, has reiterated its commitment at improving the beauty and personal care of the African woman. In an interactive forum held in Lagos at the launch of the new product, “The Natures Gentle Touch Monoi Oil product range for Natural hair solution,” the Group Managing Director, Recare Cosmetics Limited, Chijioke Anaele, revealed that the brain behind the new product was to celebrate Africans and explore our indigenous ingredients, as well as a mission to solve the beauty and hair problems of Africans using natural ingredients.

“The Monoi Oil Product Range for Natural Hair Solution is of course, another evidence of our commitment to improving the beauty and personal care of the African woman. The range has five products – Strengthening Shampoo, Conditioning Therapy, Restore Serum, Spray Lotion, Lock and Twist Gel. Each of them is a natural solution to a hair problem,” he added.

The technical Manager of Recare Cosmetics Limited, Daniel Komlan, noted that a woman’s hair is more important than many people realise because it boosts self-confidence and self-esteem of an individual.

“It was imperative for women to know the texture of their hair and be armed with relevant information on hair care solutions, just as he advised both men and women to shun the idea of tinning their hairs as it has no positive effect. Instead, it would break hairs. He also charged people, especially young ladies with grey hairs to be proud to flaunt it as it has no side effect, but could add to their beauty.

“Knowing your hair texture will afford you of the opportunity of choosing the right treatment to give your hair. We have fine hair, medium texture and coarse or resistant hair. A lot of women are going natural, because virgin hair and its treatment is the trend now and women want to wear it gracefully. Making your hair an integral part of your beauty regimen is sacrosanct as food and weather affects your hair,” Komlan stated.
