What we wish and want

Some holidaying children in Ibadan were asked what they wish to become in the future and what they want for themselves and loved ones. Their responses are brought by RUMAYSAH ONIBUDO.

Hamza Yusuf, JSS 2

I wish to become the best goalkeeper in the world and to increase my knowledge of Islam. I wish for my parents to be blessed with long life and prosperity because these things are not easy to attain.

Faridah Adedokun, JSS 1

I wish to become a surgeon in the future, and to be blessed with wealth. I pray that Allah grants my parents long life, and continue to bless and take care of us.

Toheeb Bankole, JSS 1

I wish that my family and I will never enter hellfire. I wish to excel in my studies and always come first. We want be blessed with wealth, because life’s suffering is nothing compared to the suffering of the hereafter.

Lawal Hanis, JSS 1

I wish that my family will benefit from me, that I will gain knowledge and always excel in class.Above all, I want be among those who enter paradise.

Faizah Adedokun, JSS 1

I wish to become a great lawyer in the future, to make my parents proud through my success. I pray that Allah blesses my family with good health, wealth, and paradise.
