What to know about Tinubu’s newly-nominated minister, Dingyadi

Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi is a Nigerian politician who has been nominated as a minister by President Tinubu.

Before his nomination as a minister by President Tinubu, Dingyadi served as the Minister of Police Affairs under President Buhari’s administration.

Here are some key facts about him:

Dingyadi born 1953 in Dingyadi town of Sokoto State. He is a 1978 graduate of Ahmadu Bello University.

Early Life and Education

He attended primary school from 1961 to 1967 and secondary school at Government College, Sokoto from 1968 to 1972.

Dingyadi later graduated from Ahmadu Bello University in 1978.

He had served in different ministries, including, but not limited to the Sokoto state ministries of education and water resources, as a civil servant.

Dingyadi was one time, the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government and Chairman National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) Abuja.

Political Career

Dingyadi represented Bodinga Federal Constituency in the Assembly before he was appointed as the Minister of Police Affairs by President Buhari.
