According to him, in the Miri community of Bauchi Local Government and Kafin Madaki in Ganjuwa LGA, the Community Peace Mediators (CPMs) have continued to demonstrate their unwavering commitment to promoting peace and resolving conflicts within their communities.
Both groups held their January feedback and interaction meetings to review their impactful work over the past month.
The statement further contained that the achievements highlight the CPMs’ dedication to fostering harmony and addressing disputes effectively.
The Communication Officer commended the peacebuilders for their dedication, saying, “Their efforts have significantly contributed to fostering a peaceful and cohesive community.”
The CPM initiatives are being supported by Women for Women International, an organisation dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainable peace.
