Sokoto State House of Assembly has reassured Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of it’s loyalty and support to the executive arm of government for the progress and development of the state.
The speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon Aminu Mohammed Achida, stated this on Thursday when he led members of the house in paying Sallah homage to the Government House in Sokoto.
Achida disclosed that what is uppermost to each of the honourable members is uplifting the state to a greater height, assuring that every member is ready to contribute towards attaining such lofty goals.
The speaker praised the existing cordial relationship between the executive and legislature in the state, assuring that the tempo would be sustained.

In his remarks, Tambuwal, who received the legislators at the state council chamber, commended them for their unity especially.
He specifically thanks Abdullahi Garba who accepted to work together with others after the emergence of the speaker of the 9th Assembly.
Tambuwal also thanked the members of the house for their commitment to the peaceful coexistence of Sokoto State which would no doubt engender the development of the state.
He explained that now that politics is over, his administration would relate with each of them without party differences, saying his doors would always be opened to them especially on issues relating to their various constituencies.
Tambuwal congratulated the house on the release of one of the member of the house who was abducted by bandits representing Dange shuni constituency, Aminu Magaji Bodai, recently abducted by bandits and assured that government is taking adequate measures of addressing the security challenges confronting the state
