The Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum and Coordinator, North West, Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has cast his vote in Saturday’s Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections and urged Nigerians to remain orderly and law-abiding.
Senator Wamakko who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District spoke to newsmen shortly after casting his vote at the Gidan Ja’oje polling unit, in Wamakko town, headquarters of Wamakko Local Government, Sokoto State.
He admonished the electorate to peacefully exercise their franchise and freely vote their various choices.
Senator Wamakko also said,” there is no need to cause any trouble, as that will not take us anywhere. It will not do anybody any good.

” In politics, just like any other contest, there must be a winner and a loser. Hence, anybody, who loses should wait for the next four years to try his or her luck .”
Senator Wamakko, however, averred that Nigeria was making progress in her political system.
He lauded the massive turn out of voters at the polling unit, adding, ” the people have come out en masse and conducting themselves lawfully.”
