The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has said that organized labour agreed on the N70,000 new minimum wage with mixed feelings.
Speaking to correspondents after the meeting of the leadership of the organized labour with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday, he said they agreed based on the present economic condition of the country.
He also said that the promise to review the minimum wage every three years rather than wait for five years also played a part in their acceptance of the president’s proposal.
