In its commitment to stimulate sustainable investments in tourism, culture and to translate its benefits to real growth in a diversified economy, Waka About Africa has slated its fifth anniversary conference for June 7, 2017, at NECA Building Alausa in Lagos.
The conference with theme ICT and Finance as Catalyst for Tourism and Culture in a Diversified Economy will bring a range of policy makers, including professionals and stakeholders in the ICT, finance, tourism and culture sectors under one roof to interact and share experiences.
For this year’s edition, MD/CEOs of banks, and their counterparts in Telcos, DGs of agencies, captains of industries, ambassadors and cultural attaches of foreign missions in Nigeria, royal fathers, as well as tourism and culture investors and enthusiasts will converge to discuss the key areas for stimulating new investments opportunities.
According to the Publisher/Editor-In-Chief, Chinyere Nwanma Ogidi, the participants will also use the occasion to forge warm relationships with corporate stakeholders, products and services operator in the industry and their importance in diversifying Nigeria’s economy.
A wide range of activities including corporate exhibition, an elaborate conference session, panels of discussion and networking segments have been scheduled for participants. There will also be a potpouring of entertainments segments involving cultural displays and showcase of investment potential in the sector.
Mr Tony Ojobo, Director of Public Affairs, Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) will be the Keynote Speaker at the Conference, while Chief Mike Ahamba, SAN, will chair the event, and Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information & Culture will be the Special Guest of Honour,
