Virginia Giuffre hospitalised after ‘serious’ car crash

Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations that Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked her to the Duke of York when she was 17 has revealed she is in the hospital after suffering kidney failure following a serious car accident.

In an Instagram post, she stated that her car had collided with a school bus and that doctors had given her “four days to live” before transferring her to a specialist hospital.

Her spokesperson, Dini von Mueffling, confirmed the incident in a statement shared with the BBC, saying, “Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.”

Giuffre described this year as “the worst” and shared a hospital bed photo showing visible bruising. Reflecting on the severity of the crash, she wrote that her car “might as well be a tin can.”

“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” she added, seemingly referring to her three children.

Giuffre had been living in the suburb of North Perth, Australia, with her children and husband, Robert. However, recent reports suggest the couple has separated after 22 years of marriage.

Details about the time and location of the crash remain unclear.

Western Australia police and ambulance services said they had no records of such an accident occurring in recent weeks. However, police later stated they had found records of a “minor crash” between a bus and a car on 24 March, with no reported injuries.

Prince Andrew has denied all claims but reached an out-of-court settlement with her in 2022. The settlement included a statement in which he expressed regret for his association with Epstein but contained no admission of liability or apology.
