Social media users have continued to react to a video of Nigerian entertainers, Ijoba Lande and Baba Tee, sharing heartfelt hugs after a public fallout between them.
Tribune Online reports that Baba Tee recently admitted to having an intimate encounter with Darasimi, Ijoba Lande’s now-estranged wife during a game of “Truth or Dare.”
The controversy began when Ijoba Lande Darasimi of infidelity, alleging that she had been involved with multiple men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee.
Initially, Baba Tee denied the allegations, claiming he had met Darasimi only once through a mutual acquaintance, Marygold, who introduced her as a content creator. He said he was unaware of her marital status at the time.
However, Baba Tee later retracted his earlier statements, admitting that an unexpected and intoxicated setting led to the affair. He recounted that Marygold and Darasimi had visited his residence and suggested a game of “Truth or Dare,” which eventually led to the intimate encounter.
After admitting to the incident, Baba Tee apologised to Ijoba Lande on several occasions.
However, it now appears that both men have reconciled, as they were seen together in a trending video. In the clip, Baba Tee could be seen trying to explain certain things to Ijoba Lande, who in return bowed to greet him, signifying an end to their feud.
While some netizens condemned Ijoba Lande for making peace with someone who had an affair with his wife, others praised the two for putting the incident behind them and allowing peace to reign.
Reacting to the development, @Norbby_O wrote, “Now I know why his wife cheats on him. He is very dull.”
