The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) kicked off her 73rd Annual Convention at Redemption City in Ogun State on Monday with one viral moment stealing headlines.
A trending video captured the moment the General Overseer (GO), Pastor E.A Adeboye sang the original version of the hit song ‘No Turning Back’
Videos from the Christian gathering, which is scheduled to run till Friday, August 8, have emerged online.
During Pastor Adeboye’s ministration at the day 2 of the convention, the clergy told his members to sing the song ‘No turning back’ and also admonished his members who are yet to give their lives to Christ to do so immediately.
Adeboye, while speaking about the song, also dropped a comment about the new version, saying, “We are going to be singing a song that we used to sing when I was young and has now being made popular by somebody who how would I call it, he model it, it’s a song that says I have decided to follow Jesus, you are going to sing it with total determination, let it be your song for the rest of your life.
Reacting to Pastor Adeboye’s video, Gaise Baba wrote in caption, “God crowned my birthday last night with a most AMAZING GIFT, to Him be ALL the Glory!!!
