Valentine: Senator Natasha opens studio for Kogi Central artistes, offers cash support

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day celebration, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art music studio for constituents, providing financial support to at least 30 artistes.

The initiative was unveiled on February 14 during a special Valentine’s Day event organised by the Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Foundation.

Sen Akpoti-Uduaghan, in a press statement issued by her Chief Press Secretary Israel Arogbonlo, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Saturday, said
the event, tagged Alema/Ohiogu Love Fest, brought together artistes from Kogi Central for an entertainment-filled gathering.

The music studio, located at the senator’s constituency office in Oro, Okene Local Government Area, was first commissioned by former House of Representatives member, Alhaji Abdulrahman Badamasiu.

The studio is open to all artistes from Kogi Central, allowing them to record their songs free of charge.

Sen Akpoti-Uduaghan encouraged the artistes to utilise the facility efficiently and manage their recording time wisely.

The event featured electrifying performances from artistes such as Yunique, DanOzizi, 2Rich, Ajemo, Dreez, ITabriz, Victor Justified, Anayisi, Nickyberry, MC Mansho, S Pretty, Fatai Jimoh, and Language, among others, who thrilled the audience with their talent.

In addition to the studio launch, ten artistes received three hundred thousand naira each in cash to support their careers, while the senator also financially supported those who performed at the event.

This initiative is part of Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s ongoing efforts to create an enabling environment for artistes in Kogi Central, fostering growth and sustainability in the local entertainment industry.
