OBA of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, has called on Christians to use Easter celebration to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ and emulate Christ in their daily living.
He also advised Christian leaders to always do exactly what they preached in order not to mislead their followers.
The monarch gave the admonition while felicitating with Christians on the occasion of Easter.
While wishing Christians a happy Easter celebration, he reminded them of the need to extend hands of fellowship to the needy and underprivileged in the society.
He also called on Christians to continually pray for the nation’s leaders and unity, peace, progress and development of the country.
