National Savings and Investments (NS&I) in the United Kingdom has announced the Premium Bond winners for December 2024. Six Essex residents are among the lucky recipients of the £100,000 second-tier prize.
This month’s draw featured a diverse distribution of prizes, including two winners who secured the coveted £1 million top prize.
In addition to the six Essex winners, 71 individuals nationwide were awarded the £100,000 prize, while 141 others claimed £50,000 each.
One of the Essex winners, holding bond number 502DD870345, won £100,000 with a bond valued at just £100, purchased in June 2022. The winner’s total bond holding amounts to £505, demonstrating the accessibility of Premium Bonds as a savings option.
Essex residents also celebrated additional successes, with nine people winning £50,000, 16 securing £25,000, 26 claiming £10,000, and 57 receiving £5,000.
Premium Bond prize draws occur monthly, giving bondholders the opportunity to win prizes ranging from £25 to £1 million.
NS&I encourages participants to check their winnings using the Premium Bond prize checker on its website or app. Bondholders will need their holder’s number or NS&I number, which can be found on bond records or related communications.
