Nollywood actress, Uchechi Treasure Okonkwo, popularly known as Adakirikiri, is relishing in the glow of her latest achievements. In June 2024, the talented teen actress and gospel singer clinched two prestigious awards: the Best Teen Actress at the Nollywood Travel Film Festival in Italy and another accolade at the Nollywood & African Films Investment Summit & Awards in London. Her captivating performances on screen and her soul-stirring music continue to win hearts, cementing her place as one of the industry’s most promising young talents.
Uchechi, born on October 12, 2008, is a multi-talented young artist who first caught the spotlight at just 8 years old with her 2019 gospel single Okeosisi, which has since racked up over 2 million views on YouTube. Her move from music to acting felt effortless, and she made a strong impression with her breakout role in the 2021 Ghanaian-Nigerian film The Good Doctor, directed by Omoruyi Wallz Efosa and featuring Jackie Appiah and Emmanuel Okhakhu.
