Two persons were allegedly abducted on Monday along old Ibadan-Iwo road, Osun State by suspected kidnappers, TribuneOnline authoritatively gathered.
The abducted persons, whose identities remain unknown as of the time of filing this report were among the passengers travelling along the axis before they were attacked by gunmen.
Credible security source informed our correspondent that the abduction occurred around 11.15 pm on Monday night around Alamo village.

Though details surrounding their abduction were still sketchy, efforts were already on by security agencies to rescue them
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Osun State Police command, Mrs Folasade Odoro confirmed the incident, saying rescue operation had been launched by the Police to secure the freedom for the abductees.
According to her, “the Commissioner of Police in Osun, Mr Babatunde Kokumo had already visited the scene of the incident and our men are presently combing the bush to rescue the kidnapped individuals unhurt.”
