Two more members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Barile Nwakoh and Hon. Emilia Amadi, Tuesday joined two earlier ones in backing out of the impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Nwakoh represents Khana Constituency I in the House while Amadi represents Obio/Akpor Constituency 2.

Addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, the two female lawmakers urged their colleagues to withdraw the impeachment proceedings against the governor and his deputy.

The latest development came barely 24 hours after two members of the House, Hon. Silvanus Nwankwo and Hon. Peter Abbey, backed out of the Impeachment proceedings.
