When and how did you become a photographer. Does it have anything to do with what you studied in school?
Well, I didn’t study Photography in the higher institution. However, I have always loved nature and all things art and bright. Even when I was in school, there was hardly a day I wasn’t seen on the motion ground; it was either I was being snapped or I was handling the camera and was taking someone else’s shots. I can say my photography journey started as a passion and hobby, and has now translated into a business. In fact, the business aspect of Morade Imagery started officially in 2014 and we have by God’s grace and hard work, witnessed a tremendous growth.
What has been your experience working in a male dominated field?
I must say that it has been challenging and at the same time fun. As I said earlier, Photography started as a passion for me; so even when I encountered some difficulties in my field, I didn’t let it get to me; rather, I turned those challenges into opportunities and stepping stones. However, it was fun working in this male-dominated field, because it enabled me to explore my inner ability and creativity.

To the glory of God, I have trained quite a number of people in this field and today they are doing exceedingly great.
How have you been combining your career with the homefront?

What advice do you have for young people?
One of my favourite quotes is,” life is not about competition, we all have our own races.” What I tell young folks around me is “never let your background put you on the ground. In other words, don’t stop learning; don’t stop dreaming, be the best at what you do. Turn that passion into a profitable venture and keep aiming at the top. Remember there’s no quick way to success, “you may be slow, but be consistent and success is certain. Then to parents, do not limit your children, allow them to express their passion. And to the young ones, there are no limitations except the ones you impose on yourself. Find your voice and expression in your passion and mountains will disappear.
