Mr. Tunji Bello officially assumed his role as the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) today.
Bello took over from Dr. Adamu Abdullahi, who served in the acting capacity for seven (7) months.
According to a statement from the Commission, the new Vice Chairman is bringing a wealth of experience to the FCCPC, and “we are confident he will be a strong advocate for fair competition and consumer protection in Nigeria.”.
Bello was welcomed to the Commission by Dr Adamu Abdullahi, who has reverted back to his position as Executive Commissioner of Operations.
The Executive Vice Chairman was also welcomed by Mr. Kola Alabi, Executive Commissioner, Corporate Services.
Before settling into his office, Bello went around the commission to familiarise himself with the staff.
