As reactions continue to trail the gruesome murder of the son of Senator Ibn Bala N’Allah, Captain Abdulkarim N’Allah by terrorists in Kaduna on Sunday, former Deputy General Secretary of the Airline Operators of Nigeria, (AON), Alhaji Mohammed Tukur and the Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello has condemned the brutal murder of the trained pilot.
This is just as the aviation community has been mourning the murder of the young pilot.
Tukur who described the death of the young pilot as a big blow to the aviation industry, however, urged the security agencies to ensure that the culprits were apprehended to answer for their heinous crime.
He noted that the deceased possessed an exceptional skill, stressing that it was gravelly regrettable that the industry had to lose such a promising professional at a time aviation was experiencing a high dearth of skilled manpower.
The young brilliant aircraft pilot was allegedly murdered in his home at Malali GRA in Kaduna Metropolis by alleged bandits who were said to have gained entry into his residence through the ceiling.
Tukur however disagreed that the murderers were bandits saying the mode with which they carried out the killing suggested assassination and called on the security agencies to widen their dragnets to fish out the perpetrators.
He regretted the increasing criminality in the country and appealed to the security agencies to do more to secure lives and properties.
Alhaji Mohammed Tukur however consoled with the family and prayed for the internal repose of the deceased’s soul.
The different aviation professionals through the different aviation platforms have continued to condemn the killing of the young N’Allah whose father is a pilot and a member of the present National Assembly.
In a statement, Governor Bello said the activities of bandits are really atrocious to people.
The Governor maintained that the fight against these criminal elements is now a task for all and sundry, not just the government or security agencies alone pointing out that the outcome of their vicious attacks, always leave a negative memory in the hearts of people.
He said, killing a young promising man in his prime, in such a gruesome manner is very disheartening.
The Governor who commiserates with the immediate and extended family members of the deceased prayed Allah to forgive all the shortcomings of late Capt. Na’Allah and accept him into Aljahna.
“My heart is with the family of my friend and Brother Senator Na’Allah. Abdulkarim was like a son to me. Killing him at this age is so devastating but I believe Allah knows the reason why He permits it to happen so we can’t question Him.
“All I pray, for now, is for Allah to grant him Aljahna Firdausi and give us all the fortitude to bear the great loss,” he said.
He then called on the security operatives to make every necessary effort to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
