The administration of Donald Trump is reportedly considering imposing extensive travel restrictions on citizens from 43 countries as part of a new ban, furthering the immigration policies that the US President introduced at the start of his second term in January.
According to reports, an internal memo categorizes these countries into three distinct groups.
The First Category: Red List
Afghanistan
Bhutan
Cuba
Iran
Libya
North Korea
Somalia
Sudan
Syria
Venezuela
Yemen
Citizens from these nations are proposed to be “flatly barred” from traveling to the United States.
The Second Category: Orange List
Belarus
Eritrea
Haiti
Laos
Myanmar
Pakistan
Russia
Sierra Leone
South Sudan
Turkmenistan
In this countries, it is not entirely prohibited. Affluent business travelers may be permitted to enter the US, while those applying for immigrant or tourist visas would face restrictions.

These nations would have 60 days to address perceived deficiencies, with the risk of being reclassified into one of the stricter groups if they fail to comply.
A US official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, noted that the list could be subject to changes and has yet to receive approval from the Trump administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Following his second inauguration, Trump signed an executive order mandating stricter security screenings for any foreign national seeking entry into the US to identify potential national security threats.
That directive required several cabinet members to submit a list by March 21 identifying countries from which travel should be partially or fully suspended due to “vetting and screening information [being] so deficient.”
Additionally, the administration has been deporting undocumented immigrants to their home countries, including India. The practice of chaining and shackling deportees has drawn criticism from their home nations.
