US president Donald Trump has said he has a much bigger, powerful and working button on his table which is better than that of N/Korea.
Replying to N/Korean president Kim Jong-un New Year message where he was quoted in a television broadcast warning the United States he had a “nuclear button” on his desk ready for use if North Korea was threatened.
When Trump was asked for a response after the North Korean president televised speech, he replied “We’ll see, we’ll see” as he walked into a New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Today, Trump finally replied Kim’s message. He tweeted a reply saying: “North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger and more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
The feud between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un has been for a while.
Following the UN sanction on North Korea, Trump tweeted to praise the Council’s vote saying:
“The United Nations Security Council just voted 15-0 in favour of additional Sanctions on North Korea. The World wants Peace, not Death!”
The UN sanctions came in response to Pyongyang’s ballistic missile fired on the 28 November, which the US said was its highest yet.
Mr Trump has previously threatened to desolate North Korea with a nuclear attack. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has described the US president as “mentally deranged”.
