The two names headlining political discourse in Ogun State at the moment is the present Chief of Staff to Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Tolu Odebiyi and a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abiodun Akinlade.
The two politicians are being touted for a higher political assignment in the nearest future and this has created some buzz within the political elites where the two belong.
It was gathered that Tolu Odebiyi’s suave personality and politically inclined background is seen as an advantage, while Akinlade’s grassroots popularity and sense of service to the people are said to be his stand-out attributes that have endeared him to many.
Odebiyi and Akinlade are not just the usual politicians, both are experienced disciples of Senator Ibikunle Amosun in whom they share similar political ideologies and strategy.
