Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Alhaji Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will commission the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Kano within the next six weeks.
The estate, located in Tabarakallah and Lambu, Kano, is part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda to deliver 100,000 homes for low- to middle-income families across Nigeria.
“The mandate of the Renewed Hope Housing Cities and Estates Scheme is to deliver 100,000 homes, especially for families on low to middle income across Nigeria,” Dangiwa said during an inspection visit to the Renewed Hope Cities.

He added that the project aligns with President Tinubu’s commitment to providing affordable housing for Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Dangiwa stated that the buildings are already completed, while the provision of water and electricity is nearing completion.
“The contractors have been given a six-week deadline to finalise finishing touches and make necessary modifications to the original plan before the official commissioning,” he said.
The minister reaffirmed the Federal Government’s resolve to ensure quality and timely delivery of housing projects across the country, emphasising that “the ministry has instructed contractors to create a designated demarcation for delivery trucks to prevent further damage to the access roads.“
