The coordinator of the South-East zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) advocacy group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for executing over 307 projects across the country.

He also said the President, since assuming office three years ago, has worked strenuously to deliver Nigeria from what he described as the “doom of impending kwashiorkor.”

Onunkwo stated this on Tuesday while speaking to journalists at the APC secretariat in Awka, Anambra State.

He noted that President Tinubu’s administration had given citizens hope for a new Nigeria through what he described as people-oriented reforms and the provision of democratic dividends.

The APC chieftain and senatorial hopeful, who gave insight into the activities of RTIFN, said, “What we are doing in RTIFN is informational. We are informing and educating Nigerians on the activities and democratic performances of our working President.”

He added that RTIFN was established by Seyi Tinubu, son of the President, to strengthen nationwide support for the administration and deepen the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda through grassroots mobilisation and inclusive leadership.

Onunkwo said over 40 humanitarian projects executed by the APC-led government had been spread across the South-East, including Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi states.

He stated that the President met what he called a “kwashiorkored Nigeria” and had placed the country in “intensive care,” adding that positive results were beginning to emerge.

According to him, projects in the South-East include the digitalised Enugu–Awka–Onitsha highway, the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt highway, and the Enugu 9th Mile–Benue highway, which he said are expected to last between 70 and 100 years.

He also called for support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, saying, “A lot of good things have happened since Tinubu came on board. He deserves total support from Nigerians.”

Onunkwo further said subsidy removal had increased allocations to states and local governments, which he claimed was driving development in rural areas.
